Experience the fantastic collection of Asger Jorn's artworks at Museum Jorn in Silkeborg. The collection contains the works that Asger Jorn created from the early 1950s to 1973. Asger Jorn had many creative talents - and the exhibition at Museum Jorn offers everything from colorful, gloomy, abstract and beautiful paintings as well as ceramics, prints and much more.

The Silkeborg Lakes
When you visit Søhøjlandet, you shouldn't miss a boat trip on the Silkeborg Lakes. The boat company offers many different types of boat trips. Everything from full-day excursions to shorter non-stop round trips and cozy evening sailing. It is also possible to rent canoes and kayaks, so you can take a boat trip yourself and explore the lakes.

Hjejlen - Silkeborg
The Hjejleselskabet has a total of nine boats that sail from Silkeborg and Ry harbours respectively. Among them is the world's oldest original coal-fired paddle steamer, S/S Hjejlen, which turned 150 in 2011. All the boats have their own history and special atmosphere and form the setting for both the daily route and non-stop sailings as well as the company sailings where private individuals and companies rent the boats for events on board - as floating party rooms.

This historical time capsule is worth a visit.

Camping 5 km from Ry gives you the opportunity to experience a cozy town with music, food and a good atmosphere. In Ry you will find many small specialty shops and a few grocery stores. The town is beautifully situated between the lakes Gudensø, Birksø, Vessø, Lillesø, Rye Mølle Sø and Knudsø along the Gudenå River – and only a short train ride from Terrassen Camping.
